Certified material. Clear documentation.

AISI 1045 is a medium-carbon engineering steel widely used in mechanical and industrial applications where greater strength and hardness potential are required than in low-carbon steels. Its carbon content allows it to respond to suitable heat treatments, making it appropriate for components that require improved mechanical performance and resistance to wear.

The material is frequently used to manufacture transmission shafts, axles, gears, rollers, pins, machine components, and structural parts. Depending on the supplied condition and processing method, AISI 1045 can be machined and heat-treated to meet specific engineering requirements. Material selection should account for the required hardness, strength, section size, and operating environment. Typical Applications: Shafts, axles, gears, rollers, pins, machinery components, and industrial equipment.
