550 HB wear-resistant steel plate is engineered for extreme wear conditions where maximum hardness and durability are required. Its very high hardness provides excellent resistance to abrasion, helping extend equipment service life and reduce maintenance and replacement requirements.
It is commonly used in mining machinery, crushers, buckets, dump bodies, hoppers, conveyors, and heavy-duty construction equipment. The grade is particularly suitable for components exposed to continuous abrasive materials and severe mechanical impact.
Final chemical, mechanical properties, dimensions and tolerances are confirmed against the governing specification and purchase order.
