Certified material. Clear documentation.

AISI 4150 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel developed for engineering applications requiring a combination of strength, toughness, and hardenability. Its alloy composition and medium-carbon content allow it to achieve useful mechanical properties through appropriate heat treatment.

The grade is commonly used in heavy-duty shafts, gears, high-strength machine components, and industrial equipment exposed to substantial mechanical loads. Depending on the supplied condition and heat treatment, it can be selected for components requiring improved strength and resistance to mechanical stress. Material certification, section size, and required mechanical properties should be evaluated before use. Typical Applications: Heavy-duty shafts, gears, high-strength components, industrial machinery, and mechanical power-transmission systems.
