S890QL is a high-strength low-alloy structural steel supplied in the quenched and tempered (Q+T) condition. With a minimum yield strength of approximately 890 MPa, it provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, allowing manufacturers to reduce structural weight while maintaining high load-bearing performance and durability.
The grade is widely used in heavy construction, cranes, lifting equipment, mining machinery, transportation equipment, pressure structures, and other demanding engineering applications. Its combination of high strength, impact toughness, and good weldability makes S890QL suitable for fabricated structures exposed to heavy loads and severe service conditions.
Final chemical, mechanical properties, dimensions and tolerances are confirmed against the governing specification and purchase order.
