S960QL is a high-strength structural steel supplied in the quenched and tempered (Q+T) condition, with a minimum yield strength of approximately 960 MPa. Its high strength-to-weight ratio allows structures and components to be designed with reduced material thickness while maintaining excellent load-bearing capacity and durability.
It is commonly used for heavy-duty construction, cranes, lifting equipment, mining machinery, transportation equipment, and high-strength welded structures where high mechanical performance and impact toughness are required.
Final chemical, mechanical properties, dimensions and tolerances are confirmed against the governing specification and purchase order.
