Certified material. Clear documentation.

Alloy 2304 is a duplex stainless steel grade that offers good resistance to general corrosion. It has improved resistance to chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion compared to austenitic stainless steels. Exhibits high resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in chloride-containing environments. Commonly used in industries, including chemical processing, oil and gas, marine environments, water resource recovery facilities as well as desalination plants. Suitable for applications that require good strength, corrosion resistance, and a combination of high mechanical properties. Typical applications include heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pipes, fittings, and structural components.
