UNS N04400 is a nickel-copper alloy with excellent resistance to corrosion across a wide range of marine and chemical environments. Its high nickel content provides strong resistance to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking, while the copper content contributes to excellent resistance to hydrofluoric acid and alkaline solutions.
The alloy combines high strength, toughness, good weldability, and excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications in marine engineering, chemical processing, oil & gas, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and seawater handling equipment.
Final chemical, mechanical properties, dimensions and tolerances are confirmed against the governing specification and purchase order.
